I started Rad Brown Moms in 2014 as a tumblr project to document stories entrusted to me by friends about their mothers, aunties, grandmothers and other strong female family members. After a hiatus, I have decided to give the project another shot and a more permanent, visible home on the internet.
At its core, Rad Brown Moms is an ode and shrine, to every Woman of Colour who has selflessly nourished the minds, bodies, and souls of others.
To any Rad Brown Moms reading this: You may never receive the accolades and thanks you truly deserve in this selfish world. But in this space, you are appreciated, you are loved and I salute you. Thank you for being rad!
